AREA ADVANCED AND EMERGING MICRO/NANOELECTRONIC DEVICES FOR DIGITAL SWITCHING AND ANALOG APPLICATIONS

  • Modelling and simulation of nanoelectronic switches for energy-efficient ultra-low power electronics (finFET, FDSOI, nanosheet, CFET, TFET, Cold source)
  • Advanced electronic devices for cryo-CMOS and quantum computing, with emphasis on noise/fluctuations
  • Scaled transistors in alternative semiconductor channel materials (III-V,2D, WBG)
  • Self-heating and performance degradation in modern nanoelectronic transistors and vertical integration technologies
  • Characterization, modeling and simulation of carrier transport, impact ionization, hot carrier effects, hot carrier induced luminescence, degradation and reliability in advanced electron devices
