Valerio Setti è nato a Vignola (MO) il 26 Luglio 1985. Si è laureato in ingegneria elettronica (triennale e specialistica, cum laude) presso l'università di Modena. Attualmente è dottorando e si occupa dello studio delle fibre ottiche a nucleo cavo.
