S2C: Secure, Software-defined Cloud
Project description
The S2C project aims to address some of the open issues related to merge of the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) cloud systems with the upcoming Software-Defined Data Center paradigm. The background of the project is cleary defined, as the S2C project is a direct continuation of the work initiated in the SAMMClouds project,
Specifically, the research activities will focus on the study and proposal of innovative solutions with regard to the following main issues:
- Management of IaaS cloud e multi-cloud systems
- Resource management in SaaS multi-cloud systems
- Data protection and security in cloud systems
